In April, we typically see only a third of the rainfall experienced in March, signaling the arrival of sunny days. While March straddled the rainy and dry seasons, April brings more definitive dry season conditions to Bali. The beaches are clean, the coastal winds have calmed, and the weather is predominantly sunny. Hotels start to fill up gradually. Although it can still rain occasionally—rain is always possible in the tropics—dry season generally means much less rain. Easter marks a high season, leading to crowded areas and higher accommodation prices.
