The southern regions of Bali, including the vibrant neighborhoods of Canggu, Berawa, and Echo Beach, are currently undergoing an impressive transformation in terms of urban development. In the past 5 to 7 years, these areas have experienced rapid growth, attracting a plethora of new cafes, hotels, guest houses, restaurants, and shops. While these establishments contribute to the liveliness of the regions, they have been built next to roads that have long suffered from inadequate infrastructure, particularly the absence of sidewalks.
Acknowledging the need for modernizing the infrastructure in order to accommodate the increasing number of visitors and to provide better accessibility, the authorities have taken the initiative to construct sidewalks. This change not only promises to enhance safety but also offers convenience for the growing tourist population in the area.
The rapid development in Canggu, Berawa, and Echo Beach has been fueled by the thriving tourism industry.
